Kurdistan Region enters trade show season
Erbil, Kurdistan – Iraq (KRG.org) – Companies and visitors to the Kurdistan Region are getting ready for another year of trade shows and exhibitions that will help to introduce new products and services to the growing economy and build ties between business communities here and abroad.
This autumn Erbil International Fair will take place for the fourth successive year in Kurdistan’s capital city. Suleimaniah, the second city and the largest governorate by population, is also expected to host its third annual trade show.
In addition several thematic trade fairs will take place, including the very successful Italian Expo which returns to Erbil this summer. The Erbil Exhibition Centre will also host fairs for Iranian products, building and construction, food and agriculture, and a motor show.
Mr Abu Bangeen, the Director of the Erbil International Fair Company which manages the exhibition centre in the capital, said, “This year we have our most exciting and extensive programme of trade fairs to date, and we welcome companies that want to explore the business potential in the Kurdistan Region and use it as a springboard for the rest of Iraq as well.”
