Iraq's Kurdistan to import fish from Iran
Iran is to export fish to Iraqi Kurdistan, said the Managing Director of Iranian Fisheries Export Development Fund, Behrouz Kakavand.
He also said an international fisheries and aquaculture fair is to be hosted by Kish Island, southern Iran, from November 25 to 28 where representatives from countries such as Spain will attend.
The fair is hoped to pave the way for Iran's presence in new markets, he said.
Kakavand also said the biggest aquarium of the Island run by Iran's private sector is to be inaugurated; the aquarium is unique in the Middle East and contains various kinds of aquatic creatures.
He also said the aquarium has required facilities for those interested in diving.
Iran successfully held 5th international fisheries and aquaculture fair last November in which 100 domestic and 35 foreign companies from 17 countries including UK, Spain, France, Norway, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, Germany, China, the Persian Gulf littoral states and the U.S. took part.
